chalk it up

Who doesn’t love chalk? Takes me back to when I was a kid! I recently had a little fun with chalkboard paint. I collected glass items from around the house and purchased a few as well, and added a personalized touch with chalkboard paint! Such an easy project! I highly encourage you to give it a try as well!

{supplies}

Things you will need:

-chalkboard paint

 -paint brush

 -painters tape

-glass items {photo frames, canisters, wine carafe, plates etc.}

 -chalk

{paint, with painters tape}

{painted frames}

{painted cheese plate}

{watching paint dry... takes a few days}

{perfect for party frames, name plates, food labels and candy jars}

{personalized cheese plate}

Chalk Tips:

 -Allow paint to fully dry before using chalk. According to directions this may take up to 4 days.

 -Chalk works best on glass, not plastic.

 -Need more items to paint? Ikea, WalMart and Target have a great selection of inexpensive glass items.
