I’ve always been a fan of the using the pantone colors to influence my clothing purchases, nail colors and even home decor. {see spring 2012 colors here} I’ve decide to start a little series about the pantone colors for each season,  “pantone palate”,  and bring you my favorite options for each shade {all under $50}. This is also a great way to introduce color into your wardrobe. Today’s color is Cockatoo!

their way & the save way

I have been a huge fan of the shape of the Celine luggage tote. The shape is structured and classic and the color combinations are perfect. I have always dreamed of purchasing one but, let’s be real, who has that kinda cash lying around. I recently came across a very similar styled bag and it’s just what I need to fill the void of not owing a Celine luggage tote. So until I win the lottery or the money fairies drop by my house, this look for less will do!

quick stop

I made an impromptu stop at forever21 over the weekend and I was happily surprised by the fresh spring arrivals!  Can’t make it to a store? Here are some of my favorite accessory finds online!

{p.s. how cute is the window display?}

sequined clutch $20.80, color-blocked weekender $34.80, floral clutch $18.80, stone necklace $9.80, aztec bracelet $10.80, crescent necklace $5.80, cutout clutches $12.80

absolutely “wonder”ful

Before heading to NYC I read up on new and upcoming events, designers and store openings. I came across one person who had always sparked my interest. Chris Burch, the ex-husband of Tory Burch. I have come to learn he is a retailing genius! He recently opened C.Wonder,  a boutique in SOHO {there are 3 other locations as well}, and let me tell you something, it may have been what dreams are made of.

Holiday music, great {unique and affordable} gift items, a very helpful and colorful staff. I absolutely loved it! The merchandising was perfect and the selection was on point! I highly recommend you visit the store next time you are in NYC! No plans to travel to NYC? Don’t worry you can shop online {but, I will tell you the in-store selection is much larger}.

jeweled clutch

A small jeweled handbag has been on my wish list for some time now {it’s on my shopping list for my upcoming NYC trip as well}. I feel like every time I find one I love it’s over $100! I came across these two precious bags at Urban Outfitters. So unique and I love the long chain that is included. This is the perfect accessory for the holidays!
