I fell in love with this Stella & Dot ring during Texas Style Council and I had to purchase. I couldn’t resist the color and contrast of the gold. I received the package in the mail this week and fell in love all over again!
I discovered peacock plume while attending Texas Style Council in Austin, and I absolutely fell in love! With one necklace in particular, and now I can’t get enough of what their site has to offer. The prices are amazing, I can honestly say you get more bang for the buck! How fabulous is the necklace I picked up? You would never guess it’s only $35!
*more to come on my above outfit later in the week

I have forever been a fan of watches, even as a small child! For the last several years I have been wearing an extremely large, gold, mens, Michael Kors watch {similar style here}. I came across these light-weight, but still large in size, timex watches in NYC. I bought one and absolutely LOVE it! I got one for my mom for Christmas too! It’s nice to still have the masculine size but not the weight. Also, it’s Timex, a long-lasting watch brand, and they are only $60 on Piperlime!
Before heading to NYC I read up on new and upcoming events, designers and store openings. I came across one person who had always sparked my interest. Chris Burch, the ex-husband of Tory Burch. I have come to learn he is a retailing genius! He recently opened C.Wonder, a boutique in SOHO {there are 3 other locations as well}, and let me tell you something, it may have been what dreams are made of.
Holiday music, great {unique and affordable} gift items, a very helpful and colorful staff. I absolutely loved it! The merchandising was perfect and the selection was on point! I highly recommend you visit the store next time you are in NYC! No plans to travel to NYC? Don’t worry you can shop online {but, I will tell you the in-store selection is much larger}.
One of my biggest pet peeves is ponytail holders on the wrist. Especially at a formal event or even on a job interview. Can’t you leave that in your purse? When I came across these ponytail holders, I changed my mind, and I too immediately wanted to wear these ponytail holders on my wrist {in addition to all my other bracelets}. So stylish and functional. Anything that serves a double duty is worth purchasing in my book!
This week has been absolutely crazy! So excited Friday is finally here and ready to head out of town. Here are a few of my favorite things that got me through this hectic week.
I get wrapped up too quickly in my everyday busy life and sometimes forget the little things. And to be grateful for those little things. I came across these precious {handwritten} items and the quotes quickly reminded it’s the simple, small things that mean the most. All pieces from Laurel Denise.
