While browsing the racks at a local boutique yesterday a lady approached me, saying she loved how well my bag and shoes went together. I took the compliment, but was taken back, because there is no way I thought about that as I was getting dressed. I’m not a real matchy, matchy person but the combination I was wearing went well, without perfectly matching. Here are a few combinations that do just the same.

Pairing up for a lovely little swimwear collection. Diane knows bold prints better than anyone else, and these prints are perfect for days spent in the sunshine. How cute are the little bags as well, the smaller ones are perfect to pack your swimsuits in.
My first job {and my favorite}, was at a high-end resort wear boutique. I started when I was 16 and continued to work there on college breaks. January was always my favorite month, when shipment after shipment of beautiful spring and summer pieces would arrive. While majority of the country is absolutely freezing this time of year, it was always fun to get lost in the new arrivals.
Working there I learned that January and February are the best months to shop for swimwear, sizes are fully stocked and the motivation that comes from buying a new swimsuit is wonderful! I have never been one to reach for the one piece, but I absolutely love these new arrivals from J.Crew.
Lately {especially with the heat} I find myself reaching more and more for my cotton t-shirts. Today I paired a slim fit t-shirt with a colorful, flowy maxi skirt and an oversized necklace. Never underestimate the power of a fitted T{chic}-shirt . Try pairing them with big sparkly necklaces at night for a dressier look!

I have forever been a lover of hats, and my collection is growing even more rapidly these days! I recently invested in a new one from Goorin Bros., and I have to tell you, it is by far my favorite hat! The brim stays perfectly round and hasn’t flopped over!
