Charleston in December

I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Charleston {my first time too} with my job. I attended the Garden & Gun Jubilee, which was one of the most amazing events I have ever attended. The weekend was literally the pages of the magazine coming to life. Everything so perfectly styled and curated, not to mention the best of the south, in one place! I also had a little time to adventure in the city, something about being in a new city alone feels so refreshing and freeing.

Reaching in 2014

Last year I wrote about wanting to reach a little further in 2014 and I think I did just that. I started with a new company over the summer that allows me to combine my passions and professional experience on a daily basis and I could not be happier on the career front. I was also able to pack my bags a little more this year and reach places I’ve never been {and a few old favorites too!} The main highlight of the year, is my new title of Auntie, the debut of my niece is by far the best moment of 2014! Cheers to the year that was and the new one on the way!

Fall Travel

If you have been following along on instagram, you know I have been traveling quite a bit these last two months. I just got back in town from a fun vacation {more on that later}, and still wanted to share these pictures from a fall trip to Savannah a few weeks back. My bf and I took the trip for the most magical wedding and Savannah was the perfect backdrop!

Fall Finds

I can’t believe it’s been a few weeks since my last post! Things have been crazy busy, in a good way. I’m finally back with a few of my most recent favorite finds. My fall calendar is booking up with travel and I have been more mindful of purchasing items that are easy to pack and can get a few wears on each trip. I also scooped up a new suitcase on sale at Macy’s. What are your favorite wearable items to travel with this fall?

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

I’ve been traveling just about every single weekend since March and needless to say I’ve gotten a lot better at packing. They say practice makes perfect, right? I have a few things I consistently pack, but I’m always on the lookout for new items that make traveling easier. Like an oversized travel wallet, perfect for plane tickets, passports and travel receipts. Or an extra long iPhone charger, perfect for those tricky hotel outlets. What are your must have travel accessories?

Beach Bag Packing

I cannot believe Memorial Day Weekend is this coming weekend. I’m looking forward to a little fun in the sun and {mentally} my beach bag is already packed. Most importantly sunscreen, some fun sunnies, a great hat and something cold to drink. Can’t forget the tunes either, how cute is this beach radio?! What are your must have items for the holiday weekend?

End of April

I can’t believe May is tomorrow!! Where has the time gone?! April was one of the busier months I have had in a while, traveling every weekend. From an art festival in Mississippi, to an extra long weekend in NYC and back to back beach weekends. This month was one for the books and I can’t wait to see what May has in store.

In a New York Minute

I got back from New York late Sunday night and I have to admit the trip was one for the books. Just perfect; from the moment I landed {flight landed early}, to the cab ride to the city {with the windows rolled down}, the perfect mix of shopping, eating and sightseeing and the best part, 60 degrees and sunshine {the whole weekend}.  I normally visit New York in the winter, but with longer daylight and warmer temperatures, I think spring is my new fav.
