Typically we spend July 4th at the beach but this year we decided to change things up and relax at home. Lucky for us, the weather was perfect, and from the looks of the weather channel the rain has been nonstop at the beach. These pictures are from my last beach trip on an outing to Seaside. Seaside is the small picturesque beach town, most known for the set it played for the Truman Show. The small town is now jammed packed with people, shopping, beach homes and bikes.

I’ve spent this entire week relaxing at the beach with my family. It’s been nice to unplugged and take time for the little things. I’m looking forward to the weekend here and celebrating my 28th. Here is a little glimpse at what I’ve been up to {follow along on instagram for more}.
afternoon popsicle/ DIY pom poms {seen here}/ a fun little store we stumbled upon/ the newest addition to our raft collection {get it here}/ the cutest little food truck in Seaside
I still can’t get enough of the photos I took in Savannah. I absolutely love that town, and really hope to get back there one day soon. The moss filled trees and the perfect southern comfort food are calling my name.
green shutters | perfect southern biscuits | ship in the sun | amazing moss | lobster sweater love | sweet cupcakes

This tote had me at its name “French Market Basket“, however its style is pretty great as well {and its price, only $39}. I’m ready to grab some shades, an oversized towel and hit the beach!
As I have gotten older I have gained a true appreciation for sweets. Whether a bite of a freshly baked cupcake, a few macaroons or a piece of fancy chocolate, I truly enjoy a sweet treat every once in a while {ok, at least once a week}. Looking back over these picture from my trip to NYC, I can’t help but crave a Magnolia Bakery cupcake, a little bite of happiness.

By now you are all well aware, I love a good collaboration. Anytime a designer produces pieces at an affordable price point I am all over it. DVF has done it again, this time with Roxy. Pairing up for a lovely little swimwear collection. Diane knows bold prints better than anyone else, and these prints are perfect for days spent in the sunshine. How cute are the little bags as well, the smaller ones are perfect to pack your swimsuits in.
Taking the day off to enjoy the city. Follow along on instagram, luckygirlfinds

I recently had the chance to visit Texas wine country (which you may not know is the second most visited wine region in the USA). Fredericksburg, TX is not to far outside of Austin and well worth the drive. The bf and I had an absolute blast! The wine was great and the town was just precious. If you are in the region you have to stop in.
cheers!/a little outfit shot/barrel room tasting/and another shot looking down/flowers in cans/german beer, a nice break from the wine/a much-needed latte the day after
I went to Houston this past weekend for a very last-minute trip, and I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! We did so much in the short time we were there and I discovered two new places I absolutely love {Spec’s for the most amazing liquor and wine selection, and Tiny Boxwood’s, the cutest, most delicious brunch place ever}. Not to mention I came home with a super cute new pair of shoes and my first succulent!
