Le Specs

Sunglasses are an accessory item I can never have enough of. I used to purchase one nice pair every year or so and now I stick to lower priced brands and scoop up multiple pairs throughout the year. I recently discovered Le Specs and love all of the unique styles, and the price point.. all the sunglasses are under $80!

A Touch of Leopard

I’ve always loved an unexpected touch of leopard print. My house is decorated in bright tones but I wanted to bring in a few richer fabrics for the fall and winter and decided to give leopard a try. I ordered these darling pillows off Etsy and can’t wait to style them. Not sure if they will land on the couch or mixed in on my bed, but looking forward to adding them to my little abode! 0001-84591000

Shelved and Stacked

It’s no surprise that I love a perfectly styled bookcase.  I use books all throughout my house to create height, balance and to fill my shelves with inspirational titles. I just scooped up two new books recently {thanks Amazon} and have a few more on my wish list. Looking for a gift? A beautiful coffee table books is always a good idea! Shop my favorites below.

Back to School

Well it’s officially back to school and no matter how old I get I will always be a fan of school supplies. New pens, notebooks, calendars… you name it, I can’t resist. Anyone who knows me well knows that you can always find an assortment of markers, pens and multiple calendars on my desk at any given time.

My favorite supplies come from Paper Source. We don’t have a store here in New Orleans but whenever I am in a city with one it’s a must stop on my list. Perfectly merchandised office supplies and trinkets are my little slice of happy!

One of Each

Zara has long been my go-to shoe source! They are always first to come out with the seasons latest styles {at affordable prices} and typically after a few wears, I can live in them. Zara recently launched their fall shoe collection and lets just say I may go broke, I want them all!

Eataly: The Best of Italy in Chicago

A few months back I was able to visit Chicago not once, but twice for work; it was my first time to the city and I still can’t believe it took me so long to visit! What an amazing place! On my first stay one of my Uber drivers recommended that I check out Eataly. I went in thinking it was an Italian restaurant and once I got there my mind was blown! For those of you who haven’t heard of Eataly it is the most amazing culinary experience. The location is set up similar to a Whole Foods, but way bigger. With three restaurants, many tasting areas {think cheese, meats, pizzas}, a market and dessert and coffee area; with food selections straight from Italy! I was SO impressed I made it a priority to head back on my second trip as well. The food was absolutely amazing and being able to wonder the aisles; looking at any thing and everything you could image from Italy, with a glass of wine in hand made the experience one I won’t forget.
