friday finds {stamped}

I came across these precious stamps {from eat | pray | create} and they are just the perfect thing to keep on hand. You can use them on notes, party favors, invitations, fabric… come to think of it pretty much anything! And the price of the stamps is hard to beat, for such a personalized touch! Best part you can always change up the look with different color ink.

suede booties

I have been eyeing these amazing suede booties from Tory Burch, yet have not been able to wrap my mind around the price tag. On a recent stop at Old Navy I found a similar look! And, I won’t feel guilty if the light colored suede gets a little dirty. Now all I need is cooler temperature and for the leaves to change!

more chevron DIY…

So you all know by now I have a slight obsession with chevron print. I recently saw this great DIY picnic blanket {on twig and thistle}. With fall around the corner;  football season, outdoor concerts and cooler temperatures this is going to get put to great use. Not too mention cost only a few dollars to make.

What you’ll need:

Fabric Drop Cloth, Home Depot: $6.98

fall under fifty

My best finds come when shopping out of season. Shopping out of season can be the key to success, either shopping before the season arrives or at the end of the season. The plus side of shopping out of season is purchasing items that others rarely come across.  So as much as I CANNOT imagine wearing a sweater or boots now {August has been a HOT one}, it is the best time to start shopping. I have compiled below my top fall favorite, finds for under fifty {$50}!

{fall 2011 Pantone Colors}

I look to the Pantone colors to be a guide on the latest color trends for each season. It’s nice to have colors in mind when shopping for a new season. I have a copy of this image on my iphone too! So if ever I need inspiration when shopping I can always look to color.

I have had several friends rave about JewelMint. I recently joined and had my first item delivered and absolutely love it! I can’t get over the styles, price and precious package your item is delivered in.

Side note, you are not automatically charged monthly {you can skip any month, as long as you skip by the 5th of each month. And pay only when you order a piece you like}.

Look for joining specials as well. My first piece was only $14.99!

printed maxi

Walking around my neighborhood last week, I noticed the most unique maxi skirt in the window of one of my favorite boutiques! I knew I had to have it {price pending of course}. The price was right {the save way} and now I can’t wait to wear it. And it will be perfect to transition into the fall as well!
