I’ve said it before and I will probably say it a million more times this summer, it is HOT. And by hot, I mean I don’t want to see a sleeve or pant leg for a while! It’s getting hot down south, and by hot, I mean you walk out of the door and feel like you immediately need to get to the nearest air-conditioned building! Summertime down here calls for casual, cool and carefree looks. My go to is loose-fitting dresses and I am in the market for a few new ones. Here are several looks I’m currently craving!

I went a little overboard on the shopping this week {see below}, but couldn’t resist with sales all around! If you are looking at shopping over the weekend, I made out really well at Old Navy {additional 30% off when you use your Old Navy/Gap/Banana card, and take 20% if you don’t have a card} and J.Crew {additional 30% all sale items}. Oh and I also snuck in this fabulous dress from Piperlime!
One thing to remember when online shopping ALWAYS search for a coupon code before you check out, even if it’s just for free shipping! You will be surprised how much you can save from a little coupon found online!

Sometimes I come across a shoe, so different, so unique, and right on trend, that I must have them! Even if I only wear them a few times. Well this is a pair I purchased this week, so classy and high-end inspired, but only $49.9o. {gotta love Zara’s e-commerce} Not to mention these will be perfect for Spring and Summer cocktail parties and weddings!

I love the look of a nice ruffle swimsuit top, and to be honest now is a great time to shop. Stock is normally full and the average consumer is far, from thinking about swimwear. I got this swimsuit from Old Navy this week and absolutely LOVE it! The fabric is thick and the quality is much better then I expected! Unfortunately the color I purchased is sold out but the black below is so cute as well. {and I wanted to show, again, it pays to shop around, I was close to buying the one from J.Crew for almost triple the price}

The past week has been the week for sales, from Black Friday, Small Business Saturday to Cyber Monday! I came across this amazing Gap scarf {the size of a small blanket} and cannot wait to wear it on my upcoming trip to NYC. Perfect for traveling and keeping warm, not to mention the color combination is amazing! It was originally $29.95 and I got it for 50% off! Unfortunately, the online selection is not that great! The sale and selection is much better in store. These scarves would make great gifts too!

A good friend of mine accidentally ordered two of the same necklace from Forever21 and passed the additional one my way! I absolutely LOVE it, and it’s the perfect statement piece {that looks much more expensive then it really is}. Never under-estimate the Forever21 accessories department.
